The NC / ST-Series is a preassembled open induced draft counter flow cooling tower with axial fan(s) and designed to cool dirty, polluted water or water with a high concentration of suspended solids. In these cases the common type of fillings are no longer applicable. The Splash Compact Filling System, specifically design for package type cooling towers, gives the solution. The towers are divided into a wide range of models for different applications. Nominal cooling capacity 1.605 – 3.698 kW * * Nominal performances at +35 / +29 / +24(WB) °C
These cooling towers can be manufactured in different materials, interchangeable and compatible with each other, to compose a product that fully meets the needs and specification of the end-user regarding corrosion resistance and life time.
The towers are supplied completely preassembled and because of their dimensions and the separability of the bigger models, they are suitable for normal road - or container transport.
Models STT and STG : The splash grids are assembled on several overlapping layers and rest on a strong lower bearing frame. Due to this supporting system, the splash grids could be e easily replaced or combined with a standard FILMED package.
Models NCP and NCG : The splash grids are assembled on several overlapping layers and are suspended by stainless cables to an upper frame.
Fan section
Manufactured of galvanized sheet metal and equipped with induced draft light alloy high performance axial fan(s) with direct coupled electric motor(s), protection - / insulation class IP-55 / F, bolded on a galvanized steel support welded inside the fan stack. Standard with external electric conjunction box. Each fan protected by a galvanized safety grid.
HEAT TRANSFER SECTION

AIR INLET LOUVRES AND WATER BASIN
Air inlet structure and air inlet louvres made of galvanized steel. Basin made of welded steel segments, hot dipped galvanized after fabrication. Completed with galvanized steel connections for water supply and overflow each 2” G (female) Drain connection 1½ G (female) Water outlet flange connection according to UNI EN 1092-1.
